A brilliant study of light and shade, the landscape radiates with beauty from the cloud filled sky to the captivating reflections in the water.

- A.B. Ibrahim was based mainly in Alor Setar but spent most of his time in Penang, where his paintings were sold along Penang Road and Chulia Street
- Founding member of Persatuan Pelukis Melayu, Malaya (Society of Malay Artists, Malaya)
- Watercolour was his main medium. He excelled in romanticized local landscapes. He also does oil paintings which are rare in the art market
- His paintings can be viewed at the National Art Gallery, Kedah State Gallery and the royal museum in Alor Setar
