Shukri, who graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from MARA (UiTM) in 1992, is one of Malaysia's pioneers of cutting-edge contemporary art and has had numerous international exhibitions. He takes great pleasure in creating multi-layered collages out of oil paint, canvas, paint, and paper without being constrained by style, medium, or subject matter.
